Application Design Engineer

Weidmuller is a leading manufacturer of electrical components for industrial automation and connectivity. We are currently searching for an Application Design Engin eer to design electrical control systems for industrial motor control equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing wiring diagrams, layouts, bills of material and other drawings necessary for assembly and wiring of low voltage control

equipment.

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree (BSEE) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.

· Strong background in electrical/mechanical design and drafting and in AutoCAD software and Microsoft Office programs is a must.

· Ability to read and create drawings and interpret documents such as electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

· Prior experience working in the motor control industry is a plus.

· Must be a self-starter, work with minimum supervision, have excellent communication and time management skills, and be able to juggle multiple assignments.
