Job description:
We are looking for a Q. C. Fab Inspector to perform pre-production of bare board (board with no components). Perform First Article and in-process Inspection, checking inner layer and outer layer touch up required.
- Works with magnifying light and measures trace widths.
- Uses calipers and eyepiece. Identifies flaws, bad registration, and laminate imperfections.

Required experience in bare board inspection with good understanding of printed circuit board prints.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The ideal candidate will possess a minimum two to three years experience specifically in bare board inspection with good understanding of printed circuit board prints
- Ability to do in-process first article inspection, check etch inner layer inspection, pre-mask, and inner/outer layer touchup required.
- Ability to work with magnifying light and know how to measure trace widths required.
- Knowledge of how to use calipers and eyepiece, identify flaws, bad registration and laminate imperfections required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret schematics, bills of material, technical procedures, and various reports required.
- Ability to write reports and to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees; interface with other departments as necessary.
- Ability to apply basic concepts of arithmetic required.
- Ability to use common sense to solve practical problems required.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form required.
