Legal Noticing Clerk

A growing information management and professional services firm in search of a self-motivated individual to work in our El Segundo office. This candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day legal noticing responsibilities, which will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for reviewing and preparing documents for service.
  • Responsible for preparing Declarations of Service.
  • Ensure documents meet required deadlines.
  • Process return mail.
  • Assist with document production and mass mailings.
  • Flexible and willing to work in cross-functional environment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, Adobe Acrobat and Word Perfect.
  • Strong proficiency with web based applications and ability to learn new tools quickly, with minimal instruction.
  • Strong grammar, spelling and proofreading skills.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
  • Able to communicate instructions to others accurately and clearly.
  • Chapter 11 Bankruptcy experience a plus!

Hourly wage will commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a temporary position (3 months) with an average of 40+ hours a week. No relocation packages-only considering candidates in the Los Angeles area.
