The D. E. Shaw group’s HR department seeks a generalist to assist with a broad range of HR functions, including, but not limited to, employment policies and practices and performance management. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of HR experience are required. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, discreet, and comfortable interacting with managers; and will possess a positive work attitude, the ability to work well both independently and in teams, and a talent for multitasking. The position will report to the head of employee relations and performance management. Superior attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
