Description of Duties: Work with adolescents living with mental illness in a residential treatment setting. Respond to calls as needed to de-escalate and intervene in potential crisis situations. Utilize Therapeutic Crisis Intervention skills (training provided on site) to respond to clients and physically restrain them as needed. Facilitate therapuetic and educational groups, skills teaching and monitoring community activities. The program serves youth ranging in age from 15 to 21 years old. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience Required: Experience working with adolescents preferred. Driver's license, automobile and 100/300/100 auto liability insurance required. Minimum Education Required: High School diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
