The Nursing House Supervisor is responsible for supervision & coordination of nursing activities on a hospital-wide level. Seen as an extension of the departmental managers in their absence and is delegated the responsibility to act as nursing administration as assigned with hospital administrative personnel available on-call. This is a PRN position

The Nursing House Supervisor serves as a resource/facilitator for patient care and assumes responsibility for Patient Care Services/Nursing Administration duties on nights, weekends, holidays and weekdays when other hospital and Department managers are not available. This person makes rounds on the patient care units and is available as needed for issues that benefit from management help and/or intervention. This position is responsible to be a clinical and service resource, to ensure appropriate patient placement, supervise clinical activities, maintain disaster training skills, and to coordinate safe and appropriate patient care between all departments and disciplines.

The Park City Medical Center will be a convenient resource for local healthcare needs and for stabilizing patients who require transport to Salt Lake City for more critical care.
The new Park City Medical Center will be open for patient care this September and will offer a wide-range of services, including:
o 24-hour Emergency Care
o Six state-of-the-art Operating Rooms
o Family & Internal Medicine
o Orthopedic & General Surgery
o Cardiac Care
o Pediatrics
o Obstetrics & Gynecology
o Radiology/Imaging

  • Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse that allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible.
  • Excellent public relations, negotiating and prioritizing skills are necessary.
  • Demonstrated clinical competence of five years RN experience required with two years in an acute care hospital and RN Management experience preferred.
  • BLS for health care provider (CPR) certification required with ACLS preferred.
  • ICU/ER experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to function in high pressure situations.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, BSN is preferred.
  • Physical ability to make multiple rounds during a 12 hour shift is required.
