Ideal candidate...
* Minimum 2 years of hands on experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia care programming.
* Bachelor's Degree in social work, healthcare, gerontology, business or related field preferred.
* Candidates who have had operations experience in Senior Housing or Skilled Nursing preferred.
* Must be able to travel 90% of the time around the West/Southwest portion of the United States.
DIVISIONAL MEMORY CARE SPECIALIST
will evaluate and monitor all Clare Bridge products in assigned territory through completion of site visits, Memory Care Specialist Site Visit Reports, and provide detailed follow-up planning as needed. Other duties and responsibilities include: auditing and tracking trends from evaluations and determine areas for improvement and further training needs; ensure, in conjunction with the Training Department, the implementation of comprehensive dementia training for all associates in Clare Bridge settings; organize and provide advanced-level dementia care training to leadership at divisional, regional, and community levels; work with national Memory Care Specialist team to enhance or improve existing programs and materials or develop new programs and materials; and serve as the primary resource in all product types in assigned territory to resolve challenging behaviors and limit potential discharges by providing evaluation, consultation, and through the recommendation of possible interventions.
Location
This is a home based position, but will cover the Southwest and West Divisions
The ideal candidate would live in WA, ID, NV, CA, AZ, NM, TX, or OK.
