HTML / CSS Production Artist: Zynga

Zynga is looking for a HTML / CSS Production Artist to join their growing team! This is a contract position. You will own “view source”, meaning you own the way the user interface looks, and the interactive features behave. We are looking for a CSS expert with high aesthetic standards and a passion for design (you pay attention to detail, so you would understand why designers get so upset when front-end developers do not respect dimensions, spacing, and absolute color values in the execution of mockups). You also enjoy videogames and have a deep enthusiasm for the social networking platform.

Responsibilities:

· Slice Photoshop mockups into HTML and CSS files

· Optimize images for web

· Create graphic designs with direction from Lead/Senior Designers

· Assist with production of assets, features and various content. Additional responsibilities will be tasked in regard to skill set

Required Skills:

· Strong interest in design. Experience a plus. Education a major plus

· Pay extremely close attention to detail and have a strong eye for composition

· Hand-coded, semantic and valid HTML/CSS. Some knowledge of Javascript and/or PHP helpful

· Mandatory proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator

· Familiarity with all of the typical cross-browser issues and can address them with minimal hacking
