Role The Technical Support Rep is the primary contact serving technology needs of TD AMERITRADE's institutional clients. This position provides exceptional client support and guidance by conveying an accurate portrayal of TD AMERITRADE's technology products and services to its end users. Responsibilities: Resolve Tier 1 client inquires for TD AMERITRADE's internet sites utilizing proper trouble shooting techniques and a variety of online tools Support third party software programs that TD AMERITRADE clients use to perform daily business Serve as the liaison between TD AMERITRADE Institutional Services and its technology partners The Tech Services Representative will perform additional duties and tasks as required by current business conditions. Essential job functions are subject to change Experience: Requirements Must have thorough understanding of Internet, Windows XP and Vista, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook One year customer service experience required, preferably in computer helpdesk or other technical support environment Ability to work independently efficiently and effectively to resolve client concerns and or issues Excellent written and verbal skills in order to interact effectively with clients of varying levels of technical knowledge Ability to analyze and solve complex multiple problems in a timely manner Ability to interact successfully with other TD AMERITRADE Departments Financial Services Industry experience preferred Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in information systems, computer science, business administration or related field preferred TD AMERITRADE is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
