Interim Business Office Consultants



Nearterm Corporation, a privately-held Texas corporation established to provide nationwide search and selection consultation exclusively to the Healthcare industry currently has an opportunity for a Interim Hospital Business Office Consultants.

BOD Responsibilities Include:

Hires, promotes, trains, schedules and assigns work to associates working in the Hospital Business Office

· Evaluate procedures and improvements needed

· Manage a staff of 20 FTEs

· Monitor collection activities and reduce A/R

· POS collections

· Ensure optimal development and maintenance of Business Office services

· Serves as a technical resource to hospital divisions, local agencies, financial institutions, third party payors, patients and families in order to resolve problems, coordinate and improve services offered

· Relocation expenses are covered

· Benefits

· Bonus potential annually

Areas of responsibility are: Admitting, Registration, Billing and Collections, Cashiering

Hospital Business Office Director (BOD)

Must have 5+ years with Director experience

· Degreed or equivalent work experience

· Must be hands-on, high energy with good people skills

· Solid track record with Billing and Collections

· Strong analytical and organizational skills in order to direct and coordinate activities, effectively develop associates, assist in developing and monitoring budget, short and long range planning, as well as solve complex technical and human resource problems

· Must have HOSPITAL / MEDICAL CENTER EXPERIENCE. If you do not have this experience, please do not respond.
