ACS is seeking a dynamic individual with project management experience in a health insurance or preferably Medicaid environment to support the management of a large IT installation for its Alaska Client. The successful candidate will have managed teams of 50+ resources on large IT implementations with responsibilities of resources, client management and budget. On site client contact and ability to work directly with client decision makers is key. Travel is required to Anchorage Alaska, approximately 30%-40% on site. A west coast candidate, given the geographic and time difference is preferable but not a requirement. Functional Description: • Provide day to day management support of a large multi specialty design team on an Medicaid Claims processing implementation • Provides daily escalation point for team members and client contacts • Serves in Project Management role for on site coverage and acts in PMs capacity when unavailable • Performs HR and Financial related support and analysis to project • Manages Resources and assures availability to support project demands • Provides problem solving guidance with client and team on Issues and Action Items Education and Typical Years Experience • 4 year degree in business or technical desired or equivalent experience. • 5-7 years managing large IT projects in a healthcare, health insurance or preferably Medicaid environment required. • Client facing experience required.
