High school diploma. Vocational/technical training, and at least 10 years of job-related experience or equivalent.
SUBMARINE COMMUNICATION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain an active security clearance.

EG&G is currently looking for a Electronic Systems Technician to support our Norfolk, VA facility. The successful candidate will:
Provide technical evaluation and perform the required corrective actions for Submarine Communication Systems casualties in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual and all other applicable Navy Maintenance Procedures.
Draft Technical Assistance Visit Reports upon completion of corrective actions.
Assist in the disassembly, reassembly, installation and testing of the HF/LF/VLF Communication Systems including Mini-DAMA onboard all classes of Submarines.
Experience with Network Configuration highly desirable.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
