Account Executive for Group Sales!

Description:

The Account Executive will use sales experience to determine untapped corporate buyers and successfully develop a sales relationship. Maximize sales revenues for MSGE events, specifically the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and Cirque. Leverage popular events and add revenues for existing VIP sales options. Gain referrals from current buyers, moving contact relationship to the highest level to maximize sales volume. Maximize catering tie-in sale revenues. Timely collection of payments, monitor held inventory, keep abreast of TicketMaster reports and improvements. Foster positive working relationships within area, company, and client base. Maintain detailed records on purchase history and sales production. Develop new ideas and methods to improve department operation.

Requirements:

Ideal candidate will have 6 - 8 years sales experience and strong knowledge of Madison Square Garden properties with a high degree of interest in sports and entertainment. Excellent communication and organizational skills required in determining ideas and methods to increase revenues. Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities and meet established deadlines and multi-task and coordinate priorities. Cooperative personality suited for top customer service and co-worker relationships necessary. Must have strong New York City corporate client relationships and/or hospitality experience. Strong working knowledge of MS Office required.
