IT Data Analytics Analyst - Hooksett, NH
Primary Responsibilities:
- Use advanced statistical and inferential analysis programs to provide specialized data analysis
- Organize, sort and filter data in order to distinguish patterns and recognize trends
- Develop and maintain data preparation and validation routines to support data mining and has experience in creating complex data mining algorithms
- Select, recommend and apply appropriate analytic and statistical methodologies and techniques to execute against an analysis plan or research objectives
- Evaluate new analytics tools and methodologies for possible deployment
- Create data warehouses/marts and/or develop data mining analyses to support business decisions
- Generally work is self-directed and not prescribed
- Work with less structured, more complex issues
- Serve as a resource to others

- 2+ years of experience with health insurance, health care or pharmaceutical industry in data analytics
- 2+ years of programming experience using any of the following SAS, SAS Base, and/or SAS Macro
- 1+ years knowledge and awareness of standard IT practices for quality control and audit trails
- 1+ years experience with SQL programming
Assets:
- Project management experience
- Client facing experience
- Pharmaceutical industry data analytics is preferred
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
