INTERNAL MEDICINE & PEDIATRICS

Responsibilities

  • Triage patients by addressing medical concerns
  • Direct patients to appropriate point in system to receive needed care
  • Document all triaged cases and referrals
  • Acts as a resource for patient education and information

Job Qualifications

  • Current Indiana LPN license
  • 1- 2 years exp in as a triage nurse
  • Ability to use PDR, Nursing Drug Handbook and triage protocol book
  • Ability to observe and assist in the assessment of patients and detect changes in condition
  • Ability to work independently with very little supervision
