The Training Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining course curriculums to enable our customers to use and benefit from our products. Training modalities include webcasts, computer based training (CBT), and traditional classrooms. The Training Manager is expected to be a lead trainer who has exemplary training skills that team members and contractors can follow.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, lesson plans and other educational materials.
- Direct and manage contract and staff trainers, including certification levels and compliance with training mission and policies. Indentifies process gaps and strategies for overall team improvements
- Audit training events and processes for compliance and evaluate for gaps and process improvement strategies.
- Ensure effective utilization of project learning management system (LMS) to maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of all training conducted for project and performance service staff.
- Develops and reports monthly metrics to measure training efficacy, by evaluating KPIs from customers and post training surveys after training programs are complete. KPIs should be measured at 30, 60, 90 day increments.
- Develop department specific curriculums and provide training for all departments for each system release.
- Responsible for customer service surveys administered after each implementation and annually for all in warranty service customers.
- Ensures a culture of ownership and accountability via institutionalizing best practices and managing deliverables.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required with 7-10 years of related management experience of a training organization implementing hardware/software solutions.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering courses for a hardware/software solution is preferred. Successful candidates will be highly motivated professionals with proven leadership and training skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including presenting in front of large groups, including demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a diverse customer audience, at multiple levels through various formats
- Expert skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
