Department Managers – Women’s & Kid’s Apparel / Men’s & Footwear We are looking for experienced retail leaders with proven ability to manage retail sales volume of between $5M and $10M. These leaders ensure that customers receive world–class service from a team of knowledgeable and committed sales associates. Additional responsibilities include supervising the sales floor within designated departments, including customer, people and operational activities. Competitive candidates have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a talent for apparel merchandising.
Department Manager – Active Gear & Outdoor Discovery Schools We are looking for an experienced retail leader with expertise in active gear, including Biking, Camping, Fishing and Paddling. This leader is responsible for supervising sales floor activities in the Active Gear & Apparel area in the store. Additional responsibilities include leading outdoor program operations, including Walk-On learning programs, special educational programs, community relations and new-hire outdoor orientation. The ideal candidate is passionate about the outdoors, is a natural teacher and has previous sales and supervisory experience in addition to certification or specialized training in outdoor related activities. Experience planning, organizing and leading outdoor experience trips is required.
Department Manager – Operations / Receiving We are looking for an experienced retail leader with a strong understanding of retail workflow and operational processes. This key role provides leadership to stockroom associates and drives operational excellence and efficiency. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of retail experience in a $5M+ store in the role of Manager, Assistant Manager or Receiving Manager. Demonstrated people leadership experience with the ability to effectively supervise, motivate and communicate key messages to 30+ employees is necessary.
