Activities Assistant
Overview:

Responsibilities:
As an Activities Assistant, you'll organize activity programs at the community level for our residents and their families. Discover a rewarding career helping our residents improve their daily living skills by promoting resident socialization, expanding their personal interests, increasing their physical activity, and continuing their education.
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal/written communication skills.
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail.
• At least one year experience in conducting group activities.
• Knowledgeable in evaluating resident needs.
• Keen interest in people.
• Ability to set up and train volunteers.
• Must be 18 years of age and have completed high school or the GED.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
• Must meet all health requirements, including TB, and pass background checks.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
