LEASING CONSULTANTS / SENIOR LEASING CONSULTANTS WANTED!

Description

We are looking for bright and energetic Leasing Consultants and Senior Leasing Consultants that can help make an apartment community flourish! The Leasing Consultant/Senior Leasing Consultant must possess the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with residents, prospective residents, and staff members. A positive, can-do attitude is a must!

  • LEASING CONSULTANTS should have some leasing background (but the right attitude and great customer service skills are most important!)
  • SENIOR LEASING CONSULTANTS should have at least 4 years of successful leasing experience

Leasing Consultant/Senior Leasing Consultant areas of responsibility

A leasing consultant is the first person with whom a prospect will interact; therefore they must be able to convey an excellent first impression. The leasing process includes all aspects of attracting and closing on prospective residents as well as ensuring that current residents receive the level of customer service that the Company is committed to providing. Leasing Consultants will have some part in verifying, qualifying and notifying prospective residents, processing lease renewals, and preparing all lease related paperwork.

Leasing

  • Handle a high volume of phone calls and convert them to property visits – excellent phone skills are vital to successful leasing
  • Meet and greet prospective tenants; show the property while communicating its strengths and the benefits of being a part of the community
  • Maintain a high closing ratio
  • Assist in planning (and running) events geared to new prospects and existing residents

Marketing

  • Actively work with the Property Manager to develop property marketing strategies
  • Implement marketing strategies on a daily basis – network with area businesses and corporations
  • Exercise creativity in exploring new marketing channels and consistency in maximizing existing marketing channels
  • Gather information and prepare market surveys
  • Observe trends, area developments, and networking opportunities in creating and modifying marketing plans

Other Daily Operations

  • Keeping up property curb appeal, and daily set-up of the office.
  • Leasing Consultants will be the key players in establishing a strong sense of community and positioning the property as the preeminent property in the area.
