Job Description:

Role:
The Regional Manager will oversee a team of (5-7) Investment Consultants and (2) Branch Managers. Primary areas of responsibility include development and implementation of strategies to support our client needs and growth of branch sales and advice products and the leadership/management of associates to achieve the retention and asset growth goals.

Responsibilities:
' Provides leadership in managing the performance and work-flow of their teams
' Translates business unit objectives into Sales incentive targets/performance management standards
' Ensures that sales strategies are effectively executed for his/her team
' Coaches, trains and supports associates in meeting their personal development objectives
' Collaborates with other areas and builds effective relationships to ensure seamless client service
' Grows sales knowledge and experience, participates in and initiates projects to improve processes and/or enhance the client experience
' Ensures performance objectives are set collaboratively for all associates and that performance feedback is provided on a regular basis
' Supports firm wide sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives
' Coaches and supports associates in development activities and meeting their personal development objectives
' Proactively works with HR to resolve HR related issues within region
' Knows and adheres to industry/company performance sales and service delivery standards
' Manages risk and protects the interest of the firm, operates process to minimize risk while enhancing the client experience.
' Acts in a manner that portrays the TD AMERITRADE brand in a positive light

Experience:
' Bachelor's degree preferred
' Series 7, 66, or 63 and 65, and 24 registrations
' Minimum of 4 years experience in financial services
' Outstanding proven track record of leadership
' Outstanding communication, listening, relationship building and negotiating skills
' Possess the ability to excel in a competitive, fast paced environment
' Accreditation in or pursuit of CFP designation preferred
