Providence is calling a Director of Surgical Services.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics:
This position is located at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane , WA . Providence Sacred Heart is a 644 licensed bed facility with over 4,000 healthcare professionals and support staff. The Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for 340+ FTE's, 7 reporting managers, 34 OR rooms, 16,000+ main OR procedures and 3,800+ day surgery procedures annually. The Director provides leadership for patient care management, operational management, human resource management, and fiscal management of units and services within the Surgery Department and Surgery Service Line, including the Main OR/CVOR, Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), Pediatric Surgery Center, Surgery Admission Unit and Pre-Surgical Screening, Day Surgery, Endoscopy/Medical Procedures, Continence Center, Radiology Nursing, Surgical Services Dept. Float Pool, Sterile Processing/Decontamination, Surgery Administration and the Surgery Billing cost center.
Requirements: 5 years of current nursing experience, 2 of those years in management, preferably in an OR, PACU, or Outpatient Surgery setting
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing/Business required
Licenses/Certifications: Current WA State Registered Nurse License
