Senior Financial Analyst: Stone Management

Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst works with the Vice President of Finance to develop revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports and presentations. Create and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual reports to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead forecast process and f ollow-up on complex accounting issues
• Provide P&Ls and highlight trends and concerns
• Respond to queries from business people on finance/accounting issues
• Manage the monthly actuals review process and the monthly forecast process so that deadlines are met.
• Support efforts to provide financial data and explanations in areas such as monthly reporting, management, trend analysis and special projects.
• Prepare cash flow statements. Analyze cash flow requirements of the company.
• Promote continuous improvement, efficiency an automation within the finance department.
• Assist in delivering of the budget with clear articulation o frisk and opportunities.
• Monthly expense analysis, forecasting and planning for certain department functions.
• Assist with preparation of the budget and budget analysis.
• Financial re-forecasting.
• Preparation of financial reports for Senior Management meetings.
• Prepare pre and post financial analysis for company acquisitions.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Qualifications

• A BS in Accounting/Finance and 5+ years of related major corporate analytical experience
• Excellent polished presentation skills
• Strong PC and creative analytical thought process
