SENIOR BUSINESS CONSULTANT

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Salary: $80K to $90K’s plus full-time benefits

Responsibilities

• Primarily a business and IT consulting role that has some sales-related duties attached to it.
• Overall account management and quality assurance activities to ensure client satisfaction.
• Work with CIO / IT Director level clients to design specific enterprise-level IT solutions to address recognized business problems.
• Determine project requirements; design detailed technical solutions; define, assemble, and schedule required service resources; confirm engagement costs; define service measurements.
• Achieve client objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Maintain existing relationships with designated clients
• Resolving issues by obtaining and coordinating reaction among company's service areas
• Increasing revenue by recognizing/recommending new and additional services to client; presenting cost-benefit analysis.
• Managing the technical strategy of project opportunities and directing company’s response in order to maximize successful winning of business.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong IT consulting, system design, and technical skills
• Significant “hands on” implementation experience in software development
• Ability to establish genuine and long-term “peer” relationships with CIOs and IT Directors
• Understanding of high-level project management techniques
• Effective writing, presentation, and other communications skills
• Self-starter with strong leadership skills.
• Three to five years experience in a enterprise-level consulting role is required
