Environmental Specialist



The successful candidate will be responsible for providing corporate support and guidance for plant level environmental programs and compliance within assigned geographic region.

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local air discharge permitting, reporting and regulations including Title V

Ensure compliance with federal, state and local water treatment, seepage and discharge permitting, reporting and regulations including NPDES

This position is designed to be domiciled from our client’s regional office in New Jersey , however, consideration will be made for having this position worked from a remote or home office

Ability to travel frequently is required

Qualifications (Please note the items labeled MUST HAVE are absolute minimums):

MUST HAVE substantial experience with Title V, NPDES as well as other federal discharge regulations and permitting

MUST HAVE Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or similar discipline

MUST HAVE waste management experience

MUST HAVE multimedia experience (water, air and waste)

MUST HAVE at least 4 years experience in a utility or waste management environment

Multi state (particularly TX and CA) experience a strong plus
