An exciting regional sales, marketing and business development opportunity in a highly-respected established company which holds master agreements for thousands of properties throughout the U.S. with companies such as Home Depot, Lowes and Wal-Mart for the rights to develop communication towers and facilities onsite.

  • In this newly created expansion position you will be responsible for developing new tower site locations for carriers throughout the thousands of Midwest area locations managed by the company.
  • In this business-expansion position you will represent this company’s broad range of tower site capabilities and enhance the company’s regional presence by being in frequent daily contact with carrier customers and site development companies.
  • You will communicate this unique value proposition offered by the company which offers a large number of potential site locations not otherwise available to carriers.
  • You will be responsible for helping to continue the company’s position as a specialized leader by building on existing carrier relationships with customers including day-to-day close support for a major wireless carrier relationship in the Chicago area.
  • You will work closely with company peer directors in other regions of the country to capitalize on national carrier agreements and relationships.
  • This solid company is well financed, experiencing good growth, and is headed by principals with many years of experience in both telecom and real estate development.
  • As Midwest Regional Sales Director your accomplishments will be rewarded with a very good compensation package including substantial base salary and strong incentive plan, plus benefits.

Desired Qualifications:

· Proven successful experience selling to decision makers in the tower or site space in the telecom industry.

· Must have a track record of proven sales accomplishment, even if limited in years of experience.

· Knowledge of wireless communications technology and the engineering needs of either tower companies or wireless carriers at cell site locations would be a huge plus.

· At least 5 years of experience in sales with a demonstrable book of contacts in Chicago and the Midwest with wireless carriers, tower companies, or site development companies related to the establishment of new sites or leasing on co-located sites.

· Exceptionally strong people skills with outstanding relationship characteristics and sound overall business judgment.

· Able to travel as required throughout Midwest in support of business development and sales opportunities.

· BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

· Must be currently based within the Midwest area (preferably in Chicago ).
