Volt Technical Resources is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an immediate open position in the Folsom area. Successful candidates will have experience in the Accounts Payable field in the Telecom arena.As a Telecom Billing Analyst the candidate will support Wide Area Network (WAN) managing carrier invoices for the America's and European regions. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: *Validating rates to contract to include billing anomaly detection utilizing our Telecom Expense Management (TEM) tool *Identifying and logging disputes with vendors *Authorize invoices for payment *Drive / Track cost savings *Monitor add, move, change, disconnect activity *Maintain cost saving tracking tool *Assists with reporting, budget and monthly close process for the management team In order to be considered for this position candidates must have this specific experience. Job Requirements:
Basic Qualifications: *Minimum of 2 years of work experience in telecommunications expense management, carrier billing methods and telecom infrastructure. *Minimum of 1 year of A/P principles in support of account reconciliation activities. *Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel & Access. Professional Qualifications: *Proven ability to work independently and as a team member *Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment *Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills *Able to understand and manage to the terms and conditions of carrier contracts Experience working with European vendors a plus.Candidate will be asked to consent to a pre-employment criminal background screen and drug screen.
