Teller Supervisor: Provident Bank NJ

• Manages and staffs the teller area, supervises and schedules work of tellers, performs audit functions. Participates in daily branch opening and closing procedures and takes reasonability for branch operations in absence of management.
• Assures sales and expense goals by promoting effective sales and service, manages tellers to meet sales referral goals, and achieves operations responsibilities in an efficient manner to help meet expense goals.
• Assures operational standards are met including; scheduling and coordinating workflow of teller staff, conducting teller meetings, technical support, maintaining vault control, performing branch audits of tellers, approving transactions within guidelines, assisting with complete branch proof, etc.
• Assuring staff management and development to include monitoring teller performance, determining and promoting skill sets, conducting interviews, performance reviews, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years progressive banking experience, prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of: sales principles & practices, retail banking procedures and retail banking products and services.
• Solid math and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedule as requested. Willing and able to travel to other branches as needed.
