SUMMARY:
Our client a Environmental, Health & Safety software firms is expanding and has an immediate opening for a Software Sales Executive to generate revenue in sales to new prospects. Their enterprise risk management software application is brand new and generating a lot of buzz.
Our client is looking for qualified sales professionals for our Central US territory to support product demand and large addressable markets.
This is an early stage software company offering enterprise-class Software-as-a-Service technologies that address common issues concerning companies and the risks they face.
The revenue-sharing plan includes a salary and generous commission.
DESCRIPTION:
Our client provides intelligent workflows, robust data collection and reporting and business process improvement that enables standardization of Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment (QHSSE) processes.
The product marks a change in the industry as customers gravitate away from complex, burdensome processes to our easy-to-use, automated solution for Enterprise and Operational Risk Management.
REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate will be part of a small sales team, directly interacting with company leadership, and will enjoy selling to customers who have real needs that our solution solves. The candidate will enjoy an open sales territory where the sky is the limit and a market that is chock full of companies looking for a solution we provide. A successful track record of 5+ years selling enterprise-class B2B technology
A bachelor*s degree is preferred
Must possess proven experience selling enterprise-level software in multiple vertical markets.
Must understand and believe in Customer Centric Selling and demonstrate a willingness to follow a sales process.
Proven ability to solve client business issues by providing a software solution and articulating the ROI
Ability to effectively qualify prospects based upon buying criteria
Ability to accurately forecast deal timing and revenue
Ability to manage a sales cycle and pursuit team utilizing a solution sales methodology to close opportunities
Ability to prospect and uncover new opportunities
Attention to detail and ability to keep a CRM tool current and updated with activity
Ability to handle multiple accounts simultaneously
Ability to support a moderate amount of travel
Proven ability to uncover cross-selling opportunities within an organization
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to read, understand and negotiate complex contracts and agreements, while navigating through complex political environments
