ASSISTANT BOUTIQUE MANAGER: LENOX

The Assistant Boutique Manager will assist the Boutique Manager in maintaining the total operation and supervising the boutique and employees. Responsibilities include generating sales, delivering outstanding customer service, maximizing profits by controlling expenses, assist in training all boutique personnel, and protect company assets.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist the Boutique Manager with managing the team on the sales floor to achieve sales productivity goals and with boutique operations

• Ensure superior level of customer service is given at all times
  
• Coach, train, motivate and lead by example using a high degree of professionalism and good judgment
  
• Manage time, establish priorities with Boutique Manager and delegate effectively to meet goals and objectives
  
• Perform opening and closing procedures (i.e., opening cash counts, closing deposits, shift management, etc.) in accordance with Bare Escentuals policies
  
• Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of cost effective events to generate additional sales
  
• Utilize and maintain client database for phone calls, product launches, events and appointments
  
• Work with the Boutique Manager to control all store expenses within budget guidelines
  
• Follow and implement all corporate visual standards and guidelines
  
• Assist Boutique Manager in the recruiting of high caliber staff
  
• Manage all functions using company policies and procedures
  
• Ensure inventory levels are accurate and appropriate at all times
  
• Participate in annual physical inventory preparation and completion as required
  
• Supervise the maintenance of stock replenishments to the floor
  
• Maintain consistent, uncompromising high standards for cleanliness, presentation, and marketing.
  
• Adhere to and enforce all operational policies and procedures
  
• Build and sustain a positive work environment
  
• Perform other duties as required

Job Qualifications
Minimum 3 years retail sales experience required, cosmetic/beauty industry experience a plus
1 - 2 years supervisory experience in a service-oriented environment
High School diploma or equivalent required, prefer college education
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
Present a professional appearance and maintain Bare Escentuals grooming standards and dress code
Must be able to work nights, weekend and overtime when necessary
Goal oriented with a successful sales record Ability to manage store operations independently
Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills
Successful in managing and supervising people using good judgment and fair employment practices
Professional attitude and ability to be flexible and handle change in a positive manner
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. .
