Large General Contractor seeks project coordinator to provide administrative support to executives, project managers and other departments as needed. Responsibilities include: coordinating/scheduling meetings, maintaining executives/project manager’s calendars, typing & handling confidential correspondence. Compile reports, letters and memos. Liaison between executives and project management team; train support staff and project management in CMiC and standard operating procedures. Must be familiar with office procedures, office equipment and have the ability to coordinate secretarial department workload. Extensive knowledge of submittals, RFI’s, ASI’s, processing cost documents, preparing owner & subcontractor change orders, meeting notes, proposals, subcontract agreements, certificates of insurance, subcontractor pay applications and lien waivers.
Must have minimum of 5 years project coordinator experience with a large general contractor. Advanced knowledge of office procedures, letter/report formats and general accounting. Ability to type 60 wpm accurately. Ability to use transcribing machine, extensive experience in word-processing and spreadsheets and Internet skills are required. Ability to communicate effectively – verbally and written, ability to use sound judgement, have interpersonal skills and work well with others. Must be organized and able to plan in advance.
