Sr. Director, Clinical Operations; Top Pharma Company: Cornerstone Search Group, LLC

Summary: High exposure and very challenging position to lead a team of 50+ Clinical Operations professionals for this expanding Top 25 Global Pharmaceutical Company with a rich development pipeline for drugs in both early and later stages of development in multiple therapeutic areas.

Location: Nyack, NY

Compensation: Compensation will vary depending upon depth and quality of relevant Clinical Operations and Management experience. Total compensation (i.e. base plus bonus can exceed $200k)

Relocation: Relocation assistance is available for qualifying candidates.

Responsibilities:

In a nutshell, you will lead a team of 50+ Clinical Operations Professionals to plan and conduct clinical trials for drugs in both early and later stages of clinical development across multiple therapeutic areas. You will also work closely with Sr. Management in other functional areas located in the USA and globally to coordinate development efforts.

Requirements:

• Education: An advanced degree is highly desired, i.e. PhD, PharmD, MS, MBA, MPH…
• Clinical Operations Experience: 10+ years of progressive Clinical Operations experience gained working for a Pharmaceutical Company and/or a CRO is required.
• Management Experience: Must have several years of experience managing/leading a large team of Clinical Operations Professionals
• Sr. Management Interaction: Must have a several years of experience reporting to and working closely with Sr. Management
• Presentation and communication skills: Must have excellent presentation, communication and writing skills.
• Strategic Planning: Must have experience designing strategic plans to accomplish Clinical Operation’s goals.
