Online content/community site is searching for an Advertising Sales Professional with rolodex of agency and direct client contacts. This role will be responsible for existing and new revenue growth. This will include acquiring, growing and retaining key relationships with advertising agencies and marketing companies.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to thrive in a start up environment where your contributions will have a direct impact as to the success of the company
- Identifying and closing new business
- Writing and presenting proposals, presentations, and responding to RFPs
- Building and maintaining advertising agency and client relationships
- Negotiating advertising contracts
- Developing a growing understanding of our technology, and keeping up with Industry developments
- Reporting, forecasting, and exceeding revenue goals
- Significant travel within the region
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of online advertising sales experience
- Established relationships with interactive advertising agencies and knowledge of the advertising community
- Track record of successfully meeting and exceeding quotas
- Demonstrated success in goal oriented, highly accountable sales environment.
- Superior communication skills, including face-to-face presentations, phone and e-mail
- Solid understanding of Internet advertising and business models
- Diligent work ethic, dependable, and ethical
