DIRECTOR OF SALES AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this role is driving broad adoption of Volterra technology in a set of strategic OEM customers, and building and managing the sales team. Up to 30% travel is expected.

Required Skills and Experience:

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to think strategically, prioritize among competing objectives, and manage large accounts successfully. Successful track record of developing business with new technology and customers is essential. Experience in managing strategic OEM accounts globally is a must. The candidate should also have experience in building and managing a team of highly motivated strategic account managers.

The candidate has global account management experience in the semiconductor industry, with significant experience driving product promotion and long-term customer and product strategies within Tier-1 OEMs. Experience driving customer adoption of proprietary and sole-source technologies is directly relevant. BSEE is required (advanced degree preferred). Prior knowledge of power management technology and products is desirable.
