R&D Program Specialist II
Description
Purpose/Role Statement:
Provides technical and administrative support to one or more TDP, PDP, and/or BI projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support Logistics of Neurovascular R&D Projects. Includes meeting logistics, meeting notes, actions assigned by CTLs, team directories on PDM, core/extended team rosters and distribution lists, project set-up in PDM, maintaining deliverable lists for design reviews, and gathering data/preparing reports.
· Support PDM Document Control for Neurovascular R&D Projects. Includes creation of CRs, reviewing/editing documents for revision control in referenced documents, preparing documents for inputting to PDM, maintaining clean DHFs, linking documents and projects to other projects. May include training others in PDM.
· Support Effective Meeting Management. Includes best practices of capturing action items/parking lot entries with active listening, scribing, facilitating, time-keeping, Webcasts, NetMeetings, clearly prepared notes within 2 days of meetings, effective3 off-site meeting preparation.
· Support the R&D Department. As necessary support for purchase requisition/orders, P-card purchases, office supplies, Project Office, Amex on-lin, project spending tracking, data entry, technical writing/editing, creation of special reports/processes.
· Support of Audit Readiness. Includes Back-Room participation, creation of tools for R&D, pre-audit prep of documents, creating/maintaining PDM infrastructure to support business practices and audit tools (documents, proof-books; linkages), maintenance of clean DHFs in PDM.
· Communicate throughout the Organization. Ensure good communication with Project Managers and Director for workload monitoring/prioritization (weekly) and support excellent communication across assigned Core/Extended Teams.
· Support Project Management Infrastructure. Support Project Management Infrastructure at Fremont by contributing to/sharing best practices and accepting assignments that arise from PIBs, WWF, or other project management networking.
· Flexible Support of Management Team(s). Exhibit flexibility in accepting assignments that support the Neurovascular Business in meeting Objectives.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications:
3-5 years relevant experience. Computer skills including knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio and MS Projects preferred.
