Providence is calling Chemical Dependency Treatment Attendants.
The Chemical Dependency Treatment Attendant supports the provision of chemical dependency treatment by performing patient related tasks to include monitoring, reporting, intervening and documenting. Conducts and coordinates patient activities, attends group, performs Quality Assurance activities, maintains systems and gathers data.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics
Located at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Lacey, WA, Chemical Dependency Adult Unit. This is an on-call, variable shift position. All candidates hired into a position posted as 20 hrs/wk or more qualify for benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: H.S. Diploma or the equivalent. Preferred: college level education.
Licenses/Certifications: Possession of, or ability to immediately obtain, a valid Washington State Drivers License. Ability to pass a Washington State Patrol background check. Must have CPR and First Aid at hire and must maintain for continued employment.
Experience: Preferred: Experience working directly with persons in a chemical dependency or psychiatric treatment setting. Computer proficiency.
Required: Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing English. Effective communication skills.
