ACS Healthcare Solutions has opportunities for healthcare information system professionals knowledgeable of Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) market, vendors, and technology. This is a direct, full time travel opportunity with no relocation required.
To be considered for the position you must have demonstrated experience in the following areas:
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES………
1. Participate and lead PACS consulting engagements, including Readiness Assessments, Vendor Evaluation and Selections, and Implementation Strategy.
2. Conduct PACS project management oversight, acceptance testing, etc.
3. Potentially serve as interim PACS system administrator.
4. Participate and/or manage client sites for which we are providing a total PACS solution.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION.…..
1. 5+ years prior PACS experience.
2. Radiology/Cardiology department experience, either as a technologist or administrator preferred.
3. Prior PACS consulting experience, particularly vendor evaluation, selection and implementation strategy strongly preferred.
4. RIS/PACS multiple vendor experience preferred.
5. Demonstrated strong project management and planning skills/capabilities.
6. Writing, analytical and presentation skills sufficient to meet demands of consulting assignments.
7. Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Project, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
