Our clients are seeking a Staff Occupational Therapists for Outpatient with one day in the Schools. (Ohio) and Inpatient (Arizona)

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm
Weekend/holiday rotation required-for Arizona

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Works under the supervision of Director of Rehabilitation Services. Provides Occupational Therapy interventions to patients per referral, including assessment, care, planning, educating patients and families regarding treatment plans, progress and prognosis, scheduling, recording treatment information, and issuing appropriate adaptive equipment. Should be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit. Performs other duties as assigned. Evals, ADL's, fine and gross motor skills, sensory integration,team and family meetings, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Ohio or Arizona Occupational Therapy License or eligibility.
Licensure: Ohio or Arizona Occupational Therapy license or eligibility.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider status as per American Heart Association standards.
Essential Technical/Motor Skills: Motor coordination skills and dexterity required for demonstrating activities. Ability to fabricate splints as well as use of evaluation tools.
Interpersonal Skills: Clear communication skills so that information can be appropriately conveyed to patients, visitors, physicians and other staff members.
Essential Mental Abilities: Creativity with strong problem solving ability.

Arizona Location:
Prefer 2-5 years of experience. But will consider a strong new graduate!

Only 90 minutes to Las Vegas! 2 1/2 hours to Palm Springs and 3 hours to Phoenix. 4 hours to the beaches of Los Angeles and San Diego.
