Clinical Nurse Specialist - CVICU
This position will support CV ICU as well as a brand new CATH lab by supporting nurses, physicians, patients and families at the bedside.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist practices in an advanced role in a defined population. Through advanced nursing knowledge, is responsible for the development and application of high standards and research to enhance the quality of care in the assigned areas. Functions autonomously and in collaboration with health care providers as an expert clinical practitioner, researcher, consultant, leader, and educator. Assesses patient/family and staff educational needs and implements learning modalities to meet these needs. Develops, teaches, coordinates, and evaluates education programs in collaboration with other educators/managers. Supports the BHCS Mission/Vision and Values.
