Our client is a leading specialty pharmaceutical company where people build and grow their careers. They are widely respected in the industry and have a strong product portfolio and pipeline. The corporate environment is very stable, creative, and flexible. They are looking for a seasoned marketing professional to come in and run a novel brand line extension. Position Title: Director, Marketing

Company Description: Our client is a specialty pharmaceutical company conveniently located in the Parsippany, NJ area. They have a strong product portfolio and pipeline and are looking to continue to grow going forward. They are very stable, yet offer a very flexible environment. Employees grow their careers here and stay. Benefit packages are very strong as well.

Location: Parsippany , New Jersey area

• Work alongside and report in to a very successful and well-liked VP of Marketing.
• Grow/develop the group in your liking. You will have two direct reports and will not be micro-managed.
• Great location. Commutable from North, Central, some parts of Southern NJ and NY, and West PA via Route 80, 24, 78, 287, GSP, and Turnpike.
• Work on a brand new line extension to a successful product.

Compensation/Benefits: Base compensation is competitive and will vary based on your level of experience and also includes a 25% bonus, stock options, 401k match (6%), etc.

Responsibilities, Challenges, Expectations and Deliverables for this position:

• Establish and coordinate the marketing functions and strategies across the marketing function.
• Directly mange staff and activities of department to assure growth, product development, launch and profitability.
• Lead marketing activities through multiple division sales force and carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and state, federal and local laws.
• Lead the development of marketing strategies and market growth plans.
• Oversee the progress of promotional materials; ROI models, and data analysis.
• Lead multifunctional teams to accomplish brand goals and execution of strategy.
• Analyze market research needs and sales potential of new product opportunities.
• Develop and manage contracts and pricing programs.
• Plan, develop and implement product advertising and promotional programs.
• Develop and monitor department budgets, sales forecasts and promotional budgets.

Experiences, Skills, Accomplishments and Qualities Desired:

• BS/BA degree. Advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
• 5+ years of marketing experience with the majority of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
