Principal RF Engineer: Baytech Solutions

We are seeking a Principal RF Engineer to lead a small group of RF Engineers. The Principal RF Engineer must have extensive knowledge of RF design with knowledge of analog and digital circuitry.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Oversee design activities and participate in all design reviews and EDR's.

Monitor project costs and supporting maintenance of acceptable profit margins.

Ensure effective communication among all parties involved in a project.

Work with program management to develop project schedules.

Provide technical assistance to engineering staff to resolve any design difficulties.

Ensures that projects are completed accurately, on time and on a budget for the group assigned.

Assign electrical engineers to projects in support of company objectives and ensure engineering support is provided to the test and production departments.

Perform System Engineering Responsibilities for advanced designs as required by the DOE.

Maintain current and accurate design records.

Prepare electronic designs as required meeting commitments of the Company with no supervision, or assign the responsibility to others.

Provide engineering support to the test and production departments as required.

Assist with paraprofessional activities including design preparation and other related technical support.

Train other engineers in the tools, techniques, and skills required to accomplish work assignments, when needed.

Conduct performance reviews for electrical engineers within group assigned.

Ensure engineers are provided with the necessary training to perform their job duties and responsibilities.

Participate in costing of new engineering jobs and proposal efforts.

Participate in company R&D efforts, as required.

Respond to requests for Proposals, when required and support sales on an as needed basis.

Qualified candidate must have a BSEE and 10 plus years with hands on RF Engineering design experience and a MSEE in engineering with a focus on RF electronics.
