Statistical SAS Programmer

SKILLS/TRAINING REQUIRED:
-Writing original SAS code
-Experience with data step processing and data manipulation
-Experience with SQL
-Minimum of 2 years experience using SAS in a professional setting
-Ability to solve problems independently and participate in team projects
-Excellent analytical, organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
-Proven ability to document programs and projects for successful transition of assignments upon completion of contract
-Broad experience with a variety of SAS procedures
-Basic knowledge of statistical principles and practices


SPECIAL SKILLS/TRAINING PREFERRED:
-Experience with UNIX operating system
-Experience with relational databases (such as ACCESS, DB/2, Oracle, etc.)
-Experience working with large (> 1.0 million observations) datasets
-Experience with analyses in the health industry field
-Experience with SAS IntrNet
