We are seeking 1 inpatient and 1 outpatient Physical Therapist to provide high quality rehabilitative services to hospital clientele. Our therapists are all cross trained, to allow for coverage in acute and rehab during weekend and holiday rotations. The work schedule is generally 8 hours per day - less in low census situations and more when the patient needs require it.
Productivity expectations are 18 units or more in acute and 10 visits/22 units or more per 8 hours in outpatient. We use powerforms in Cerner for daily documentation in addition to dictation for initial evaluations (primarily in outpatient).
The Physical Therapist will select intervention and provide competent care as appropriate to the ages of the patient served by this position, which may include infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-age, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
Licensure Requirements:
- Licensed PT in ND or registration eligible with a temporary license in ND.
Specialized Training Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved APTA school of Physical Therapy .
Experience Required:
- Satisfactory completion of clinical affiliations.
Aptitudes and Skills Required:
- Organize time well to meet job expectations and performance standards.
- Teach one-on-one or to large groups of people.
- Establish good rapport with other health care professionals.
- Be adaptive to changing work situations.
- Communicate orally with all customers.
- Be flexible to changing work environment and to function well under pressure.
