Watchfire Signs is seeking an independent, hands-on Software Engineer who can both see the big picture and drill down into exceptional detail to join our IT team that develops in-house applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Windows applications written in ASP.net, SQL server and C# for internal staff tools used throughout the US.
• Utilize your process-oriented experience to plan production deployment, tune database performance, create and improve documentation, recommend new tools and tackle revamping existing tools to meet the ever-changing business needs of a rapidly growing company.
• Research enduser needs and analyze complex requirements.
• Recommend and implement appropriate systems and modifications and particularly integration between existing programs.
• Write programs that optimally integrate with existing or proposed database structures.
• Design, code, test, debug and maintain developed and new applications using best practices and including proper documentation.
• Provide interface to applications that best meets the needs of the user.
• Collaborate with other personnel in defining the needs of the organization to accomplish projects.
