SUMMARY: This is a supervisory position overseeing all Tax and Insurance functions in relation to loan servicing. In addition to supervisory skills, this position requires knowledge of Tax and Insurance for both commercial and residential loans. This position also requires someone who is very detail oriented, organized, self motivated and an individual who possesses a built-in sense of urgency. This position has responsibility for planning and organizing the methods and details for accomplishing work, determining priorities, selecting methodology from various approaches, and recommending actions which may impact the work of others. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervision of the staff and processes pertaining to both taxes and insurance on commercial and residential loans and also including escrow analysis. Research and resolve issues and discrepancies and respond to a variety of inquiries or problems with both internal and external customers in a professional manner. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate, instruct, guide, check and correct the work of others in order to maintain levels of productivity and quality. Give or pass on instructions according to a logical progression of work or follow a prepared schedule or protocol. Implement the direction or orders of a manager. Oversee work to ensure satisfactory results in an expeditious manner. Make recommendations as to what to do when situations arise where there is no precedent or standard method of performing the work. Exercise discretion and independent judgment in setting priorities, determining methods, and troubleshooting issues. Complete performance reviews and provide input to the manager on operations issues and assessments. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent written and verbal language skills; strong knowledge/understanding of commercial and single family loan servicing, and strong organizational skills; Technical knowledge: general business machines, such as computer, fax machine and copier. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 3+ years experience with taxes, both escrowed and non-escrowed, insurance (both forced placed and PMI) and strong computer skills. Knowledge of OSI helpful. 1-2 years strong Supervisory experience required. OTHER SKILLS: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products; finance and thorough loan knowledge/experience; quick learner; able to work at a fast pace; organization and time management skills; quick and accurate typing skills; 10-key by touch; strong oral and written skills; detail oriented; able to multitask; strong problem solving and math skills; strongly motivated with a high level of initiative; team player WORK ENVIRONMENT*: Typical office environment and equipment.
