CHIEF HOUSING OFFICER

The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority seeks a Chief Housing Officer. Reporting to the President-Executive Director, the position is responsible for overseeing all CHFA housing development and asset management operations and performing in a leadership role to create strategic direction for housing programs consistent with CHFA mission and Board Policy. Intense focus on leveraging CHFA resources and tools to maximize affordable housing creation and preservation, facilitating collaboration across functional areas in support of continuous improvement in CHFA processes, including underwriting, technical services, preservation and enhancement of asset value and compliance with federal, state, and CHFA requirements in order to maintain the highest standards for construction and maintenance specifications, and monitor quality of property management and support services delivered to multifamily and single family projects.

Requires 10 to 15 years of experience in real estate development and/or management with at least 3 years director level. Masters Degree in business, finance, management or related field preferred.
