External Description: Providence is calling an Administrative Supervisor.
The Administrative Supervisors provide nursing service administration on evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts ensuring comprehensive nursing services and quality patient care. The Administrative Supervisor acts as a representative of administration and coordinates hospital and departmental activities on an assigned shift.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics
This position is located at Providence Centralia Hospital in Centralia, Washington. This is an on-call (hourly), variable schedule position. REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelors degree, preferably a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Licenses/Certifications: Washington State licensure as a Registered Nurse with annual renewal required.
Experience: Five (5) years of acute care professional experience (within the last seven years) with one year being in entry level management or supervision preferred.Ability to work independently and assume a leadership role to accomplish objectives. Substitution: Additional RN experience in a charge nurse or supervisory capacity will substitute for the Bachelors degree; however, the candidate must be enrolled in a BSN program to obtain the degree within 3 years. Proficiency in speaking and writing English required.
