Providence is calling Dietary Assistant's
Under general supervision, assists patients with making menu selections in accordance with their dietary restrictions following infection control policies while maintaining high standards of customer service. Adapts to and sustains a culture of continuous improvement so that continuous quality improvement becomes a part of the daily work routine. Maintains professional, courteous relationships with all staff. Serves as a resource person. The Dietary Assistant reports to the Director of Dietary and may be required to perform some or all of the primary functions as assigned or other duties as assigned.
We're seeking an individual who performs all duties in a manner that promotes teamwork and reflects the Mission and Philosophy of our founders, the Sisters of Providence.
Position Specifics.
This position is located at Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA. This position is 16 hrs/wk, day shift.
REQUIREMENTS
Licenses/Certifications: N/A
Experience: One year experience in a customer focused area is required.
Other Qualifications: Must have knowledge of special diets or willingness to learn special diets. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to read, write, follow oral and written directions and pay attention to details. Ability to work independently and show initiative, tact and poise in stressful situations and strong critical thinking skills. Ability to work with others within a team to ensure that high quality customer service is provided.
