This position is located in Jasper North Georgia Mountains 60 miles from Atlanta.

Registrar I arranges for the efficient and orderly registration of all patients. Insures accurate patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures. Directs patient and family to the appropriate destination. Registrar I must maintain a professional image at all times. Ability to use Windows programs such as WordPerfect or Word and other software packages. Typing skills and good telephone etiquette. Ability to read, write, and follow directions and communicates in English.

Minimum Qualifications: Six (6) months of experience with the public as an account representative, customer service representative, or similar, preferably in a medical setting. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to use Windows program such as Word, Excel and other software packages. Typing skills and good telephone etiquette required. Ability to read, write, follow directions and communicate in English required.

Preferred Qualificaitons: Medical Terminology; Previous hospital admission experience; Certification in the following: CHAA, CFC, CPAR, and CPR

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
