EMBEDDED SOFTWARE MANAGERWe are looking for a Software Manager to lead a group of Customer Engineer team based in Santa Clara, CA to support Mobile design. You will make sure the team executes to provide effective support from design to production. You will own prioritizing, planning, scheduling, and managing the execution of all projects and activities of the team applying your excellent technical, leadership, and management skills. To excel in this role, you have to be highly motivated, work well under pressure, be customer focused, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead and manage a team of software engineers to develop and support MOBILE products, including driver development and debugging responsibilities - Provide scheduling, resource planning, and technical task direction for assigned projects - Lead the team to provide customer technical and software training - Use your experience in systems level software, embedded architecture, and platform bring-up to help develop customer design, debugging and problem solving - Establish relationships and trust through excellent execution, high quality, and exceeding expectations - Primary focus will be on supporting the development of customer mobile project into production on schedule MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BSEE/CS or equivalent - 3+ years of experience in developing complex low-level or embedded projects - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills - Capability to achieve objectives under pressure - Experience managing multiple projects with competing priorities - Detailed knowledge of embedded system software and excellent C skill - Low-level Linux development experience is a plus - Able to work closely with hardware designers and software engineers inside and outside company - Experience with platform bring-up, multimedia subsystem, 2D/3D graphics and I/O peripherals and remote debug invaluable.
