Position Summary: Account Executive, Recruitment Advertisement

Cox Newspaper’s Business Development department located at the Cox Ohio Publishing Media Center has partnered with Yahoo! and in need of competitive sales individuals to join this newly established team. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, high energy professionals with a desire to excel in a fast paced environment and to sell recruitment advertising in print and online as a part of Cox Newspapers’ partnership with Yahoo! Hotjobs.com.

Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. – Monday thru Friday

Job Responsibilities:

¨ Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly sales goals

¨ Sell recruitment advertising in print and online as a part of Cox Newspapers’ partnership with Yahoo! Hotjobs.com.

¨ Responsible for developing new accounts and drive growth in targeted markets

¨ Outbound calling to present employment advertising opportunities to potential clients

Minimum Qualifications:

¨ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience

¨ One year plus of recruiting/staffing experience

¨ One year plus sales, marketing and/or advertising experience

¨ Ability to discuss aspects of recruiting and staffing to potential customers

¨ Knowledge of sales techniques including cold-calling and networking

¨ Exhibit a professional and positive attitude

¨ Excellent communication skills, telephone etiquette verbal and written

¨ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

¨ Ability to navigate through internet sites

¨ Proven track record in achieving goals/objectives

¨ Detail Oriented

¨ Initiative and proactive thinking

¨ Team player

¨ Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment meeting deadlines
